FAQ
Product: How do i carry larger keys such as car keys?
All Orbitkey orders include a detachable D-Ring to allow for larger items such as car keys, accessories and key fobs.

Product: How many keys can I use?
The Orbitkey can cater up to 7 standard keys. For anything that doesn’t fit, the Orbitkey also comes with a detachable D-Ring to allow for extra or larger items. 
Product: Will my keys fit the Orbitkey?

As long as the hole on your key is greater than 4.0mm and the length of the key from the hole to the end is shorter than 62mm, your key will fit the Orbitkey. Please note that the hole does not have to be a round shape.

For any keys that doesn’t it on the Orbitkey, they can be attached to the D-ring that comes with every Orbitkey.

Product: Does version 2.0 accessories fit version 1.0 Orbitkey?

Yes, all version 2.0 accessories will still fit the version 1.0 Orbitkey.

Product: What are the dimensions of the Multi-tool?

The width is 17.5mm, length is 62.5mm and thickness is 2.0mm 
Designed to fit these bolt diameters: 
1/4 inch - 6.35mm 
5/16 inch - 8mm 
3/8 inch - 9.5mm

Product: Is there a difference between the D-ring attachment for each style, and from version 1?

We have redesigned the D-ring that comes with the Leather range - it is slightly smaller, smoother and curvier around the edges to give that extra premium look on the leather Orbitkey. 

The Standard D-ring that comes with the Rubber and Canvas range is also still a whole lot smoother than version 1's D-ring but still has a similar shape and design. In saying that, both D-rings have been upgraded from version 1. 

 

Perks: How, and when do I choose my preferred colour/style for my Orbitkey?

You will receive an email with the invite link to your Backerkit survey from support@s.backerkit.com AFTER 10 DAYS from the date of your order. In the survey, you'll be able to choose your preferred colour, add extra items, and update your details.

Perks: How do I order additional accessories or Orbitkeys?

We've setup a few different bundle packs in the perks on the right of the campaign. However if you were looking to add something different OR create a different combination of items, simply choose a base Orbitkey (canvas/rubber/leather) and you can add extra items through your Backerkit survey.
 

 
Shipping: When will I receive my Orbitkey?

We aim to have manufacturing completed by end of December and have Orbitkey 2.0 sent to our fulfilment centre in Hong Kong. We hope to start shipping out orders by early January in the new year. We will keep all of our backers updated and be completely transparent with progress.

Shipping: What shipping method will you be using?

All orders will be sent directly from our fulfilment centre located in Hong Kong. All orders will be shipped with tracking.
